The "LAST OF US: Remastered" is a game that was developed in 2014 after the original "LAST OF US", it was a development over the original in aspects like: graphics and story line adjustments.
It is a post apocalyptic game based in the future after a deadly virus turns human beings into mindless zombies they call the infected.
The protagonist is Joel who had a daughter named Sarah, they both lived normal lives until the virus epidemic.
After the virus epidemic, Joel became a smuggler, he smuggled health care supplies and food to people who lived in areas full of the infected. Through this he met Tess who had the same occupation.
As Joel was out, he left his daughter alone and then there was a sudden explosion in a nearby hospital caused by the infected, Joel called Sarah and told her to wit in the house and lock all the doors until her uncle hd arrived to take her to safety.
Meanwhile the streets were already flooded with the infected, people were in chaos.
Her uncle arrived to take her to safety and then she opened the door and let him in, just then Joel arrived and they all entered his car and drove away.
On their way there was an accident and they were forced to leave the car, Joel carried Sarah because the accident had injured her.
They met some police/army officials who thought that they were one of the infected, so shot at them.
Joel and his brother survived but Sarah died as a result.
After that the world turned into a no man's land as no one knew how to cure the infected, the disease was spread through a bite and everyone wanted to save themselves.
Joel and Tess worked together to survive and did very well, they ate scraps and use rubbish to support themselves.
A group of survivors came together to form an association called The Fireflies, they are a lot more comfortable than other people since they are in a large group they kill the infected with ease.
Along the line of Joel's journey he met a girl called Ellie who was in the custody of a firefly agent who is also a friend of Tess.
Ellie was bitten by an infected but didn't become an infected so Joel thinks that if he can get her to The FireFlies head office, they can create a cure.
As Tess, Joel and Ellie were making there way to the FireFlies Tess got bitten by an infected and started to transform so she killed herself in order not to turn to an infected and keep Joel and Ellie safe.
Through much tribulations such as: Joel meeting one of his old friends, and facing a lot of infected and facing a lot of hostile survivors, they finally get to the Fireflies.
The twist is that the Fireflies planned to disect Ellie to get a cure, since Joel had grown emotionally attached to Ellie, he couldn't let that happen.
Joel had to kill the FireFlies to save Ellie and they drove off into the sunset.
I'll advise you to get the this game if you are looking for a survival, shooting and adventure game.
Age rating is 18 for foul language and violence.
