Apex Legends Breakdown...

Apex legends was designed by Mackey McCandlish and is a Respawn Entertainment game.
During its first week of release it acquired 25 million players and during its first month, it had 50 million players.
Apex legends was released 4th February 2019 and is already in the running for the most popular game.
Apex recently released its third season and is getting more and more popular.
Apex Legends was produced by EA sports, the same company that produces FIFA.
Apex legends is one of the games that stands a chance of overthrowing Fortnite's reign.
Characters
Crypto: A tech wiz recon character that was introduced in Season 3 his real name is Tae Joon Park and he basically functions through a drone, he costs 12,000 legend tokens and 750 apex coins.
Some of his abilities are:
1. Passive: Neurolink - Lets his team mates to see through his drone when it is deployed, basically team mates can see loot and enemies through buildings and walls at a certain range.
2. Tactical: Surveillance drone - He deploys a tactical drone from which he can log off or on or even recall, the drone can pick up respawn banners of fallen team mates and can open doors and bins, The drone can also be used to ping loot and enemies.
The only down side to the drone is that it has 1 hp so literally any hit will destroy it and so Crypto will just be a normal guy that can shoot and the drone needs a full 40 seconds before it can be deployed again.
3. Ultimate: Drone EMP - Basically an EMP wave is blown out of the drone used in the tactical and this EMP damages all electronic implements except guns, The EMP also takes 50 damage from all shields so it is pretty useful although it has a charge time.

Wattson: Natalie Paquette is a defensive character that was introduced in Season 2, she makes use of static electricity for basically all her abilities, She costs 12,000 Legend tokens and 750 apex coins. Her ultimate takes the least time to recharge
Some of her abilities:
1. Passive: Spark of Genius - Basically she uses the ultimate accelerant to charge her ultimate fully instead of by 20%.
2. Tactical: Perimeter Security - She connects nodes together to form an electricity wired fence that both damages and slows down enemies, it lasts for 30 seconds.
3. Ultimate: Interception Pylon - She places an electrified pylon that generates an electricity field that destroys incoming ordinance such as projectiles and repairs shields that are above or equal 1hp.

Wraith: Renee Blasey is an offensive character that is an inter-dimensional skirmisher she attacks in a variety of ways, she is a free character that comes with the download of Apex Legends, she is the most used character and has the highest win rate.
Some of her abilities are:
1. Passive: Voices from the Void - She gets notified and notifies team mates when they are being aimed at, when there is a bomb thrown near the squad, etc, it is very useful especially when vision is impaired.
2. Tactical: Into The Void - She re positions herself while invisible although she leaves trail, she is also invincible, this helps her to make a tactical retreat or a tactical attack.
3. Ultimate: Dimensional rift - she places a portal that allows her and her team to safely be transported over a certain distance.

Lifeline: AJ Che is a support Medic character that is free, she has a slow type of play and basically helps to heal her team mates.
Some of her abilities are:
1. Passive: Combat Medic - It allows her to revive downed team mates under the cover of an indestructible shield, it also allows her to apply medical implements faster.
2. Tactical: DOC Heal drone - She deploys a drone that dispenses health to nearby team mates and also herself.
3. Ultimate: Care Package: She calls down a supply drop that delivers weapons, armor, etc to team mates, when a care package is delivered it is announced throughout the apex map.

Gibraltar: Makoa Gibraltar is a defensive character that is free and has a versatile of defense abilities and an offensive ability.
Some of her abilities are:
1. Passive: Gun Shield - He basically deploys a toggle-able shield when aiming that allows him to take the bulk of enemy attacks.
2. Tactical: Dome of protection - He deploys a shield in form of a dome that is impenetrable, although enemies could just follow you into the shield and eliminate you so you have to be careful.
3. Ultimate: Bombardment - This is when Gibraltar calls down an air strike on everyone, this air strike also damages you and your team mates, so an awesome combo to use is the bombardment with the dome of protection.

Pathfinder: A robot that is a forward scout, it entered the apex games so as to win and draw attention to himself so he could find his maker, he is a free support character.
Some of his abilities are:
1. Passive: Insider Knowledge - This allows him to tell his team mates where the next ring will be.
2. Tactical: Grappling Hook - It allows him to use a grappling hook to re position himself at high places or places difficult to get to.
3 Ultimate: Zipline Gun - It allows him to transport himself, his squad and anyone else that uses the zipline that he shoots out over a long distance it is very useful in a race against the storm or quick retreat and offence.

Bangalore: Anita Williams is a female soldier that is free to the play with as she comes with the game, she is an offensive character that is very versatile and she is very useful to have on your team.
Some of her abilities are:
1. Passive: Double time - It gives her a speed boost when she is being shot at so that she can escape elimination.
2. Tactical: Smoke Launcher - she deploys a smoke bomb that obstructs players line of vision so she can regroup with her squad, it forms a thick cloud of smoke that lasts for enough time to escape.
3. Ultimate: Rolling Thunder - She basically calls down an air strike that deals massive damage to everyone in its radius, including her and her team mates.

Bloodhound: Real name is unknown, gender unknown, Bloodhound is a technological tracker and hunter, he is a recon legend that is good attacks and free as he comes with the game, he is a very good ally to have on you team as he makes it easier for you to be aware of enemies in the surrounding, although I don not suggest having a Crypto and Bloodhound on the same team.
Some of his abilities are:
1. Passive: Tracker - Allows him to have an idea of where enemies may be as he can track cold and warm footsteps, cold footsteps indicate that a legend was not recently there, while warm footsteps mean that an enemy was recently there.
2. Tactical: Eye of the Allfather - Allows him to pinpoint enemies and tracks within a given range, it gives him advanced sight and can also help him to notify team mates when there are enemies.
3. Ultimate: Beast of the Hunt - It gives enhanced speed as well as it makes the surroundings look grayish and highlights enemies in red, this makes it way easier to rush enemies behind structures and under cover.

Mirage: Elliott Witt is a Technologically advanced trickster, he uses holographic clones to trick or bamboozle his enemies, he is a great legend for both escaping combat and rushing into combat, I personally love Mirage for the decoys that he can send out to confuse enemies, a lot of plays could be based off his powers, to his team mates all his decoys are labelled but to other enemies his decoys are not labelled so it is really confusing, he costs 12,000 legend tokens and 750 apex coins.
Some of his abilities are:
1. Passive: Encore - Allows him to deploy a decoy while entering cloak for a little time after being downed, he could use this to escape the fight and regroup with his team mates.
2. Tactical: Psyche Out - Allows him to send out a decoy, thus decoy could stand crouch or even aim depending on Mirage's position when sending it out, this is a very good ability to use when in a shooting deadlock and hiding behind a barrier, you could send out a decoy while going to attack from a different position.
3. Ultimate: Vanishing Act - Allows him to deploy a team of decoys while he could just slip out unnoticed, this is great if he is being ambushed and health is really low, I use this ability a lot to get out of sticky situations, he could also use the ability when trying to rush someone and cloak, to get behind the person.

Octane: Octavio Silva is a speed dare-devil, that loves moving, he is an offensive character and is also a light character, he basically uses stimulants to boost his performance and is a very good character for both escape and high speed attack, he costs 12,000 legend tokens and 750 apex coins.
Some of his abilities are:
1. Passive: Swift Mend - Allows him to self heal over long periods of time, this is a good ability to have, you would be able to always heal and you will be able to get into a fight soon after another fight.
2. Tactical: Stim - It basically boosts his all round speed and performance, it is great for offensive plays and also covering large distances, you could also use it to race against the zone.
3. Ultimate: Launch Pad - He places down launch pads that help him to cover long distances in the air, it could also be used by other light characters, like Crypto, Wraith etc on his team for a quick escape.

Caustic: Alexander Maxwell Nox is a poison expert, he is a legend that basically deals with poison gas, he is a defensive character and can break down enemy attacks, through the use of some of his abilities, he costs 12,000 legend tokens and 750 apex coins.
Some of his abilities are:
1. Passive: Nox Vision - Basically allows him to see through the foggy Nox gas, it is very useful as it allows him to launch meaningful attacks while inside the Nox gas.
2. Tactical: Nox Gas Trap - Allows him to place traps that release the deadly Nox gas at various positions, these traps are triggered by enemies or gunshots, they are a very useful escape tool as they are also foggy so enemies cannot see through them.
3. Ultimate: Nox Gas Grenade - Allows him to throw a bomb that blankets a large area with the deadly Nox gas for a specific period of time, the gas effects are basically the same but the duration and area covered differentiate his different abilities.
