Apex Legends: Fight Night

Ok so the Apex Legends Official YouTube channel released a video a few days ago, it was a "Stories From The Outlands" video titled Fight Night.

The Video was practically centered around the recon legend, Pathfinder and another character called Victor Maldera.

From the video, Victor Maldera is an ex-lieutenant and security guard who lives in Malta.

The video began with Maldera giving a prologue about how every single person in Malta is a criminal and he "got" them all.

He said that he got all of them except one - Nox.

Although Caustic (Nox) was presumed dead, Maldera was still looking for him and had practically devoted his life to finding him.

Maldera met Pathfinder while they were both working at a bar where he was the security guard.

Maldera had cause to intervene in an incident at the bar involving Pathfinder during which he had initially perceived Pathfinder as a threat even though what Pathfinder did was incidental.

In my opinion, this is where the video begins to get interesting as Maldera accessed Pathfinder's memory files, where we find that he (Pathfinder) was present on the day Loba's parents were murdered by Revenant, as it occured where he was working.

We also learn more about Pathfinder's origin, as one of his (Pathfinder's) creators Amelie P. Informed him of his name (Pathfinder), and also made it known to him that he was made for a great purpose which we get to know more about later in the video.

There are also some theories that Amelie P. could stand for Amelie Paquette and that she could be Wattson's mother.

This would make sense as Amelie P. has a French accent and Wattson is French.

Furthermore, Wattson's dad was an inventor, it would make sense if he married another inventor.

Maldera also found out from the memory files that Nox is still very much alive, but before he could find out more about Nox's exact location, he and Pathfinder were jumped by some thugs who were probably from a crime syndicate.

The leader of the thugs tried to take Pathfinder from Maldera, but they both fled on a ship and were chased and eventually shot while the ship crashed, despite these, they managed to escape.

Some of Pathfinder's memory files however got corrupted and deleted due to the damage he sustained from the gunshots which made him shut down.

Fast forward to the future we find Pathfinder reactivated, either because of the drop of water that got into his internal hardware or by a face we see on one of his screens suggesting that someone found him and reactivated him.

We may just have to wait for future Stories From The Outlands Videos to clarify the theories and speculations.
