It certainly lived up to the hype as actor Brie Larson played the role very well. Captain Marvel is a movie about a woman Carol Danvers who was a human on a planet of krees, she had little memory about her past life as a human after getting involved in an accident with the tesseract. She got into the accident after test flying a jet that was meant to be as fast as light designed by doctor Mar-vell, who was a Kree posing as a human and working in S.H.I.E.L.D. Danvers was made to believe by the Kree that the Skrulls who were an alien shape shifting race of refugees were the bad guys trying to hurts the Kree.
