Why Watch Captain Marvel?

Captain Marvel, a Marvel Studios movie was released in March this year and had a lot of hype because it followed Avengers Infinity War.

It certainly lived up to the hype as actor Brie Larson played the role very well.

Captain Marvel is a movie about a woman Carol Danvers who was a human on a planet of krees, she had little memory about her past life as a human after getting involved in an accident with the tesseract.

She got into the accident after test flying a jet that was meant to be as fast as light designed by doctor Mar-vell, who was a Kree posing as a human and working in S.H.I.E.L.D.

Danvers was made to believe by the Kree that the Skrulls who were an alien shape shifting race of refugees were the bad guys trying to hurts the Kree.

But in reality, the Kree were conquerors led by Ronan and their aim was to wipe out the Skrulls.

During a mission to extract one of the Kree who was held prisoner by the Skrulls, Danvers was taking prisoner by the Skrulls but escaped to earth with the help of her powers.

She landed on earth, and Nick Fury with agent Coulson came to investigated what was going on.

She explained to them that the Kree were the good guys and that the Skrull were evil.

In an attempt to find Doctor Mar-vell and also find out more about herself, she found an old picture, of herself, Mar-vell and one of her old friends on earth.

Upon further investigation, they found out that the Kree were actually the bad guys and Mar-vell was designing the light speed engine to help the Skrull run away from the Kree.

Danvers was surprised at this information and stopped hunting the Skrulls, instead she helped Talos who was the head of the Skrull army to find his family and other Skrulls who were already hiding on a ship camouflaged in space.

Danvers and Fury stayed at Maria's house, Maria was Danvers' friend.

The Kree army expected something was wrong with Danvers and tracked her to the ship were the Skrulls were hiding, there they fought and Danvers realised her full potential.

She beat the Kree and even destroyed some of Ronan's ships when he came to try and destroy the earth.

This sent Ronan fleeing and the Kree back to their planet.

In the end she went into space and followed the Skrull to a safe place.

In the movie we were showed how Fury lost his eye but you would have to watch to find out.

In my opinion the movie is a very good movie to watch and I recommend it.
