Jumanji: Next Level - Should You Watch It?

The recently released Jumanji: Next Level was a very nice movie with a lot of funny moments that truly kept the viewers entertained.
The movie was produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Sony and was as action packed as it was funny.
Let's get into the storyline, the movie starts off with Spencer working in a supermarket, he gets into a fight with his boss because he takes too long in performing his duties and was caught using his phone.
Spencer was texting his other friends Fridge, Bethany, Martha because they would all soon go home for the holidays.
Things did not go well for Spencer at the beginning ever since he broke up with his girlfriend Martha, he did not respond to texts all the time and he was very distant from all his other friends.
When Spencer arrived at his house he met his grandfather who had recently finished a hip surgery trying to change a light bulb.
Spencer's mum immediately reacted to this and told him to get off the ladder he was using to change the light bulb.
Spencer's grandfather Eddie had a can do spirit and believed that even though he was old, he could still do things for himself and did not need anyone's help.
Due to all that Spencer was facing he decided that Spencer was facing, he did not come to the brunch that him and his friends were planning to meet at.
All hi friends met at the diner that they planned to meet at were surprised that he did not come, so they all went to his house to find him.
They did not find him but they found his grandfather who was at home with a man called Milo who was Eddie's former business partner, but they had a beef between them ever since Milo put Eddie into retirement.
Milo and Eddie used to own a called Milo and Eddie's, they were regarded as the best in the business until Milo and Eddie retired and sold the diner to a lady and they renamed the diner Nora's.
Spencer's mum was not in the house because she went to work but she told both Spencer and Eddie that she had called a man to repair the broken heater that made the house cold.
Spencer's friends said they were looking for Spencer and Eddie allowed them in Fridge went to eat some eggs that Milo made and both Martha and Bethany went into Spencer's room and were shocked when they did not see him.
Suddenly they heard the sound of the Jumanji console and they all new what that meant so they looked for the console in Spencer's house and found it in the basement.
Fridge tried calling Spencer and when he did, they found out that Spencer's phone rang from inside his jacket that was on a stool in front of the console.
They found out that Spencer entered the video game again and they were contemplating why he did that.
Bethany convinced Martha and Fridge to go in the game and find him, Fridge was very reluctant to go in the game again.
Eventually they they turned on the console that was previously smashed but repaired a little by Spencer.
Instead of choosing their characters, Fridge, Martha Eddie and Milo were sucked into the game and used random characters.
Bethany who had convinced them was not sucked into the game but remained in the real world.
Fridge and Martha expected to play as the characters they used before and also expected the same story line to be played again.
Eddie and Milo also got sucked into the game and were confused, they did not know what was going on.
Martha still was Ruby Roundhouse but instead of Fridge being Franklin Finbar, he was Professor Sheldon Oberon who was Bethany's character, Milo was Franklin Finbar and Eddie was Dr Smolder Bravestone.
Martha and Fridge tries to explain what was going on to Milo and Eddie but they did not understand.
The same guide that directed them in the first Jumanji still directed them but instead of using a car he used a plain to explain to them the new plot of the game.
The new plot was about the jewel of fertility of the crops in Jumanji that was guarded by an elder in the village of the aves was stolen by a new villain in the game Jurgen the Brutal, he kept the Jewel hidden away from the sun so the plants in Jumanji will not be fertile or grow.
Jurgen the Brutal had his own team of men and hyenas that helped hom to steal the jewels from the village.
When the guide was explaining the new plot to them, Eddie and Milo did not understand that they were in a game and annoyed Martha and Fridge.
The guide said that Jurgen the Brutal killed Bravestone's parents a long time ago and that this was a personal mission for Bravestone.
When the guide had finished explaining to them what the plot was, Bravestone, Ruby, Finbar and Oberon dropped from the plane into a desert where they found out that their strengths and weaknesses had been updated.
Ruby had nun-chucks added to her strengths, Finbar had linguistics added to his strengths, Bravestone had Switchblade added to his weaknesses and Oberon had geometry added to his strengths.
In the desert they faced a challenge where they were chased by a lot of ostriches that chased them in their dune buggies, they had to jump a large gorge to escape the ostriches.
They were directed to the next level by Oberon and which they went to the Oasis to get the key to the safe were Jurgen kept the Jewel hidden from the sun.
There they found Bravestone's ex-girlfriend who explained to them where they would find the key, this was in a meeting of Jurgen's men, Jurgen had killed one of his men that tried to steal from him and fed him to the hyenas and told his other men in order to warn them not to steal from them.
As Bravestone, Ruby, Finbar and Oberon were listening to Jurgen's speech the lights suddenly went off and someone stole the vault key from one of Jurgen's men.
Jurgen yelled Thief and Bravestone caught the thief who they found out was Spencer in the character of Ming Fleefoot who entered the game earlier because he wanted to be Bravestone again and feel fearless.
When they found out that it was Spencer, they worked together to retrieve the Jewel of fertility from Jurgen.
After they found Spencer, they split up and Spencer, Eddie and Milo went to get camels and Martha and Oberon followed Bravestone's ex-girlfriend.
While Spencer and Milo were getting the camels, they told Eddie to keep a look out and also to keep a low profile, Eddie did the opposite of this and beat up like a hundred men.
While Milo and Spencer were getting the camels, they found out that Finbar could talk to animals and that this was what the linguistics in his strengths meant.
Meanwhile Ruby and Oberon followed Bravestone's ex-girlfriend and found a tree that grew the Jumanji berry which was Jurgen's weakness, they plucked the fruit and while they were there, they also found water that made them switch bodies so Oberon and Ruby switched bodies until they switched bodies back again.
They got back together with the rest of the crew and they had to escape quickly as Eddie had attracted the attention of Switchblade who was the husband of Bravestone's ex-girlfriend.
Switchblade ended up killing all of them and they all lost a life, they later went to the next level.
Meanwhile in the real world, Bethany went to meet Alex who had been formerly trapped in the game for 25 years to help her get into the game.
In the next level the crew of Bravestone, Ruby, Finbar, Ming and Oberon were faced agains a lot of bridges that were in constant motion and this is where they found out the use of Oberon's geometry strength and they used his power to navigate through the bridges and get to Jurgen's fortress.
They almost died until Bethany in the character of a horse and Alex in the character of Jefferson McDonough came to rescue them.
On the island, Ruby found the same water that she and Oberon found at the Jumaji tree that made them switch bodies and they told the rest of what the water could do.
They all switched bodies back to their original characters but Eddie was Ming and Milo was the horse.
Before they switched bodies Milo and Eddie made up after Milo said that he was sick and he did not have much time to live.
After switching bodies, Milo and Eddie were captured by Jurgen's men and Eddie was taken to the dungeons and Milo was taken to a secured stable.
The remaining members of the group split into two groups to rescue them, Spencer and Martha went to get Eddie and they ended up getting back together after Spencer explained why they broke up.
Alex, Bethany and Fridge went to get Milo. they snuck into Jurgen's fortress, Alex snuck in as a one of Jurgen's men while Fridge and Bethany snuck in as two brothers that Jurgen was meant to trade the Jewel of fertility with for their sister's hand in marriage.
When Jurgen found out that they were intruders they began to fight after rescuing Eddie and Milo, this fight took Bravestone and Jurgen to a blimp.
The blimp ended up crashing but Bravestone was able to get the jewel from Jurgen while they were falling.
Bravestone pushed Jurgen to the ground with force and he hung onto a rope Ming rode Milo who could fly and then Spencer through the jewel to them so they could fly above the clouds and put the jewel in sunlight.
After this Eddie called out Jumanji because they had won the game, they guide came back to send them all back home as he would return the jewel to the village of the aves.
Milo decided to stay in Jumanji as a horse, but the rest went home and had their dinner at Nora's including Eddie.
There was an easter egg at the end of the movie and this was that the guy that was meant to repair the heater that Spencer's mom brought, saw the Jumanji console and unleashed creatures (the ostriches) into the real world.
The movie is very nice and I do not recommend eating while watching the movie because you may choke while you are laughing.
