(Credit: PlayStation YouTube) To GOD be all the glory!!! Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the next game in the Ratchet & Clank franchise and takes place after the events of Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus. The game features the return of the two main characters Ratchet and Clank, with Ratchet being the main playable character of the game and Clank being Ratchet's support. Although the game is to be released on the 11th of June 2021, information released by Insomniac (the developers of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart) and PlayStation reveals some parts of the game's storyline as well as how it implements the features of the PlayStation 5. The main villain of the game is Dr. Nefarious whose main aim is to exterminate all organic life in the universe. He built the Dimensionator to help him do this, but the machine ended up getting damaged by Ratchet which then leads up to the main plot of the game. Reality becomes somewhat unstable, and it is up to Ratchet and Clank wi...

(Image Credit: Sony) To GOD be all the glory!!! Okay, a lot has happened since our last post about the Ps5, we now know more about the highly anticipated console. For starters, the official price of the PlayStation 5 Standard Edition is $499 and the price of the Ps5 Digital Edition is $399. $499 for the Ps5 does not seem that much to us considering both the hardware and software improvements that have been made to the console. The Xbox Series X also costs $499 so price should not really affect your choice of consoles. When comparing the prices of the Xbox Series S and the Ps5 Digital Edition, you may notice that the Xbox Series S is about a $100 cheaper than the Ps5 Digital Edition. This may be because, in terms of some essential features like the graphics power, RAM and overall storage, the Ps5 Digital Edition surpasses the Xbox Series S. The Ps5 Digital Edition has a 10.28-teraflop GPU and the Xbox Series S has a 4-teraflop GPU, the Ps5 Digital Edition has 16GB of RAM while the...

(Credit: Microsoft) To GOD be all the glory!!! The official price of Microsoft's smaller next gen console, the Xbox Series S, has been released, it will cost $299. The official release date of the Xbox Series S is going to be November 10, 2020.  This could also be the release date for the Xbox Series X. Since the Xbox Series S supposedly has the same CPU as the Xbox Series X (Microsoft's major next gen console), a price of $299 is not that outrageous. Although not all the specs of the Xbox Series S have been officially released, the Xbox Series S should support 120fps at 1440p and have ray tracing plus a 512GB SSD . Having 512GB on a console in this generation may not be very effective, as games of nowadays usually take up about a 100GB of space. There is no disc drive on the Xbox Series S, so it will probably have a removable storage port like the Xbox Series X. If Microsoft added a removable storage port to the Xbox Series S, then you could solve the problem of space by buyin...

(Image Credit: Marvel) To GOD be all the glory!!!   At the  Future Of Gaming , an event that PlayStation held in Jun 2020, a new Spider-Man coming to the PlayStation 5 was revealed, it is called Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Spider-Man: Miles Morales, in our opinion is one of the most highly anticipated games to be coming to the Ps5, not only because of its technical prowess, but also because of the success of the previous Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man game, which was released exclusively for the Ps4. A trailer of the game was revealed during the event and it really brought some excitement to the occasion. (Credit: Playstation YouTube) A lot has been said and also speculated about this game, as regarding its price and its overall scope. One of the things we are now sure of is the PlayStation 5 box art.  Sony has revealed what the game boxes for retail games will look like on the shelves, this was revealed this with the Spider-Man: Miles Morales game. ...

(Image Credit: USPTO) To GOD be all the glory!!! The Ps5 may come with a new and interesting feature, its very own robot companion! In a patent filed by Sony to US Patent & Trademark office, Sony describes an actual robot companion which differs from the ones created in the virtual space while playing various VR games. The robot seems like it is supposed to keep gamers company while they play games as well as exhibit some kind of emotion to either empathize with the user or output reactions against the user. It seems like the robot will exhibit its emotions mainly in the form of expression of sounds. In the supposed console wars that are going on right now between the Xbox Series X and the Ps5, if the Ps5 does indeed include this robot companion as one of its features, it could have a very strong lead. As you probably can tell from the picture, the robot is not really a typical robot, but in a way looks like a cloud with limbs. (Image Credit: USPTO) ...

(Image Credit: Playstation) To GOD be all the glory!!!   Yep, it has finally been revealed, the Playstation 5 and some of its accessories. During the Playstation event on Thursday, Sony also revealed trailers of their upcoming games. A part of the Ps5's GUI(Graphical User Interface) was also revealed with the famous "Press the PS button on your controller" phrase being displayed on the Ps5. The event hosted a lot of big game companies and some other names in the field of sports. We were very satisfied with the open demonstrations of the games and how Sony revealed some of the actual gameplays of games that will be released on the Ps5. One of the games that had a comprehensive gameplay reveal was Ratchet and Clank: Drift Apart. This gameplay showed how powerful the Ps5 really is, Rachet and Clank were able to jump through Dimensions in seamless transitions. They jumped between worlds and dimensions with completely different designs and textures without any ...

(Image Source: Reddit via u/Matst 1) To GOD be all the glory!!!   The Image used is not the official image of the Playstation 5. Some of us may not know this, but there was originally meant to be a Playstation 5 reveal event on June 4, this event was however delayed. The event was meant to include some official footage reveals of some Ps5 games. The event was postponed to Thursday, June 11 at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT and is going to be broadcasted on YouTube and Twitch. The major reason Sony postponed the event was to allow "more important voices to be heard" following recent protests. According to Jim Ryan, the president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, the event will last a bit more than an hour. Further Playstation 5 updates may also be a possibility and this event may be one in many to come. Although the official price of the Playstation 5 has not yet been released, it is not likely that it will surpass the expectations of gamers, Sony confirmed thoug...

(Image Credit: Archyworldys) To GOD be all the glory!!!   This is the official Playstation 5 controller or as it is called, The DualSense. It is a real beauty and gives us a kind of idea of what the actual Playstation 5 console may look like. As we can see from the above picture, the controller's main color is white with some touches of black which is different from the previous Playstation controllers, the DualShocks, which are usually all black, and have been with us for a while now. The lightbar is no more at the front of the controller but is at each side of the touchpad producing an added effect. Its first official picture was released on the Playstation blog and since then, many fans that are graphical artists have made their own concepts of what they portray the DualSense as. (Image Credit: u/dormstreams) Apart from the aesthetics of the controller, it also features updates such as hardware and software enhancements, which will most likely take gaming to a who...

(Image Credit: Sony) To GOD be all the glory!!!   This is the official logo of the Ps5, it looks similar to some of the past logos of previous Playstations, but you know, if it's not broken, don't fix it. After a lot of speculation on the price, release date and even games that would come out on the Ps5 had come and gone, Sony finally had a chance to answer on of those questions, the price. Although it had chance to answer the question, Sony decided not to so as to increase anticipation on the part of the fans. In a financial briefing, Sony's chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki said, "[I]t's very difficult to discuss anything about the price in this point in time... it's a question of balance and because it's a balancing act, it is very difficult to say anything concrete at this point in time". This statement alone, built up more speculation about the price of the Ps5 by analysts out there, who give their own opinions on what they believe...

(Image Credit: Flickering Myth) To GOD be all the glory!!!   The recently released Jumanji: Next Level was a very nice movie with a lot of funny moments that truly kept the viewers entertained. The movie was produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Sony and was as action packed as it was funny. Let's get into the storyline, the movie starts off with Spencer working in a supermarket, he gets into a fight with his boss because he takes too long in performing his duties and was caught using his phone. Spencer was texting his other friends Fridge, Bethany, Martha because they would all soon go home for the holidays. Things did not go well for Spencer at the beginning ever since he broke up with his girlfriend Martha, he did not respond to texts all the time and he was very distant from all his other friends. When Spencer arrived at his house he met his grandfather who had recently finished a hip surgery trying to change a light bulb. Spencer's mum immediately...

(Image Credit: Sony Reconsidered) To GOD be all the glory!!! PSVR is an attachment for the Ps4 that allows players to play their games in virtual reality, the PSVR was released on 13th October 2016. The PSVR set includes the VR headset, the motion sensor attachment for the Ps4 and two controllers that look like they have ping pong balls attached to their tops. When the PSVR was first released in October, it didn't bring as much sales as I expected, according to the charts, since its release on 13th October 2016, only 4.2 million units have been sold as recorded on 28th March 2019. A PSVR bundle consisiting of the Headset, Camera and a game usually costs about $300 but the individual headset will cost less than its bundle. This means that the comparing Ps4 units sold to the PSVR units sold is completely pointless as the Ps4 units sold are about 25 times the number of PSVR units sold. Apart from that, the PSVR is still pretty neat and has a resolution of 1920 X 1080, the...
