At the Future Of Gaming, an event that PlayStation held in Jun 2020, a new Spider-Man coming to the PlayStation 5 was revealed, it is called Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales, in our opinion is one of the most highly anticipated games to be coming to the Ps5, not only because of its technical prowess, but also because of the success of the previous Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man game, which was released exclusively for the Ps4.
A trailer of the game was revealed during the event and it really brought some excitement to the occasion.
One of the things we are now sure of is the PlayStation 5 box art.
Sony has revealed what the game boxes for retail games will look like on the shelves, this was revealed this with the Spider-Man: Miles Morales game.
The box design of the game looks fairly similar to the boxes of most Ps4 games.
Some of the differences however are that the PlayStation Logo is in black, with a white background, and the overall blue colour on the sides are darker.
In our opinion, the slight changes in the design of the game box makes it better.
Although the price of the game has not yet been officially released, but we believe that its price range will be somewhere between $70 - $85.
We believe this will be so because 2K Games has announced that the price of NBA 2K21 will be $70 on the Ps5 and the Xbox Series X.
The price increase is also expected because as more technology is implemented in the development of games, the higher will be the cost of production, and eventually the higher the retail price.
The Playstation 5 supports 4K - 8K visuals and has a fast SSD loading time, which AAA game developers will most likely take advantage of.
AAA games are the top 100 games on Playstation and Xbox which are most likely to cost more than regular games.
Even though the retail price of Ps5 games may be increased, you may still be able to get AAA games for lower prices when they go on sale on the Playstation Store.
These prices could be reduced by a whole 50% sometimes.
Another option to get games for lower prices is by using subscriptions like: Playstation Plus or Xbox Game Pass.
In terms of using subscriptions, Xbox Game Pass may have an advantage over Playstation Plus. The
Xbox Game Pass gives access to over a 100 AAA games as well as indie games for $5 - $15 a month, whereas Playstation's subscription program isn't as generous, but still offers a lot of Ps4, Ps3 and Ps2 games for a price of $10 per month.
In terms of the overall scope of the game, Creative Director Brian Horton made it clear that it will be more akain to the 'Uncharted: The Lost Legacy'-a game which is has become a reference for talking about the scope of narrative expansions.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, takes about 15 to 20 hours to completely finish.
This is about half the length of 'Uncharted: Thief's End', which takes about 30 to 40 hours to finish completely, this is according to HowLongToBeat.
Now for the actual length of the Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the main story line may just be 5 to 10 hours, but will probably have a lot of side missions and stories like the Marvel's Spider-Man game.
The reason that the main storyline of the game may be relatively quick to finish is because of the short amount of time that Insomniac had to produce it.
However the game should still be able to showcase the full power of the Ps5.
