Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart!!!

Image
(Credit: PlayStation YouTube) To GOD be all the glory!!! Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the next game in the Ratchet & Clank franchise and takes place after the events of Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus. The game features the return of the two main characters Ratchet and Clank, with Ratchet being the main playable character of the game and Clank being Ratchet's support. Although the game is to be released on the 11th of June 2021, information released by Insomniac (the developers of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart) and PlayStation reveals some parts of the game's storyline as well as how it implements the features of the PlayStation 5. The main villain of the game is Dr. Nefarious whose main aim is to exterminate all organic life in the universe. He built the Dimensionator to help him do this, but the machine ended up getting damaged by Ratchet which then leads up to the main plot of the game. Reality becomes somewhat unstable, and it is up to Ratchet and Clank wi...

You Should Probably Know These About The PS5

Image
(Image Credit: Sony) To GOD be all the glory!!! Okay, a lot has happened since our last post about the Ps5, we now know more about the highly anticipated console. For starters, the official price of the PlayStation 5 Standard Edition is $499 and the price of the Ps5 Digital Edition is $399. $499 for the Ps5 does not seem that much to us considering both the hardware and software improvements that have been made to the console. The Xbox Series X also costs $499 so price should not really affect your choice of consoles. When comparing the prices of the Xbox Series S and the Ps5 Digital Edition, you may notice that the Xbox Series S is about a $100 cheaper than the Ps5 Digital Edition. This may be because, in terms of some essential features like the graphics power, RAM and overall storage, the Ps5 Digital Edition surpasses the Xbox Series S. The Ps5 Digital Edition has a 10.28-teraflop GPU and the Xbox Series S has a 4-teraflop GPU, the Ps5 Digital Edition has 16GB of RAM while the...

The Price Of The Xbox Series S!!!

Image
(Credit: Microsoft) To GOD be all the glory!!! The official price of Microsoft's smaller next gen console, the Xbox Series S, has been released, it will cost $299. The official release date of the Xbox Series S is going to be November 10, 2020.  This could also be the release date for the Xbox Series X. Since the Xbox Series S supposedly has the same CPU as the Xbox Series X (Microsoft's major next gen console), a price of $299 is not that outrageous. Although not all the specs of the Xbox Series S have been officially released, the Xbox Series S should support 120fps at 1440p and have ray tracing plus a 512GB SSD . Having 512GB on a console in this generation may not be very effective, as games of nowadays usually take up about a 100GB of space. There is no disc drive on the Xbox Series S, so it will probably have a removable storage port like the Xbox Series X. If Microsoft added a removable storage port to the Xbox Series S, then you could solve the problem of space by buyin...

PlayStation 5 Pre-orders!!!

Image
(Image Credit: Vinicius de Jesus) To GOD be all the glory!!! By the looks of things, PlayStation 5 pre-orders are imminent. The image used above is the PlayStation 5 retail box concept art as designed by Vinicius de Jesus, and is not the official retail box art. On the PlayStation website you can fill out a form to be eligible to be one of the first to pre-order the PlayStation 5. The form is not that long and only requires you to input your PlayStation User-ID. Anyone invited to pre-order the Ps5 will receive an e-mail from Sony before pre-orders start If you do not receive an e-mail, you are not invited to pre-order. Filling out the form does not assure you eligibility to pre-order a Ps5, but you will be notified when pre-orders are live. On the FAQs for the Ps5 Console Pre-Order Invitation from PlayStation page, Sony made it clear that Pre-Orders will be on a first come first serve basis, meaning that getting invited to pre-order the Ps5 may not necessarily guarante...

The DualShock 4 Works On The Ps5!!!

Image
(Image Credit: The Verge) To GOD be all the glory!!!   Sony revealed on its PlayStation Blog that some of the existing Ps4 accessories will be compatible with the PlayStation 5. Sony also revealed that the officially licensed arcade sticks, flight sticks, racing sticks, The Platinum and Gold Wireless Headsets, as well as other third-party headsets, PS Move Motion Controller and the PlayStation VR Aim Controller, may be compatible with the PlayStation 5. If you were wondering whether you will actually need a DualSense , it seems you would if you actually want to enjoy any Ps5 games. Even though the DualShock 4 controller will work on the Ps5, it will only work on Ps4 games compatible with the Ps5. This makes sense considering there is supposed to be a generational leap from the Ps4 to the Ps5. Microsoft on the other hand says that all existing Xbox One accessories will be compatible with the Xbox Series X. Now when considering the actual generational leap between the e...

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Image
(Image Credit: Marvel) To GOD be all the glory!!!   At the  Future Of Gaming , an event that PlayStation held in Jun 2020, a new Spider-Man coming to the PlayStation 5 was revealed, it is called Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Spider-Man: Miles Morales, in our opinion is one of the most highly anticipated games to be coming to the Ps5, not only because of its technical prowess, but also because of the success of the previous Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man game, which was released exclusively for the Ps4. A trailer of the game was revealed during the event and it really brought some excitement to the occasion. (Credit: Playstation YouTube) A lot has been said and also speculated about this game, as regarding its price and its overall scope. One of the things we are now sure of is the PlayStation 5 box art.  Sony has revealed what the game boxes for retail games will look like on the shelves, this was revealed this with the Spider-Man: Miles Morales game. ...

Marvel's Avengers on the Ps5

Image
(Image Credit: Playstation) To GOD be all the glory!!!   It was recently announced that the upcoming Marvel's Avengers game coming to the Ps4 on September 4th will be getting free enhancements when played on the Ps5. This game is just one of many Ps4 games that will be getting free enhancements when played on the Ps5, some other examples of games that will be getting free enhancements on the Ps5 are: Madden NFL 21, Cyberpunk 2077 and FIFA 21. Many major developers of games on the Ps4 will most likely offer free enhancements of their games when they are played on the Ps5. Some of the enhancements that will be made to the Marvel's Avengers game include improved textures and lighting as well as giving players the choice of enhanced graphics mode which aims for a consistent 60 frames per second at 4K. The Marvel's Avengers game will also benefit from the Playstation 5's high processing power which will almost totally eliminate load times and allow players to jump...

The Ps5 May Come With A Robot!

Image
(Image Credit: USPTO) To GOD be all the glory!!! The Ps5 may come with a new and interesting feature, its very own robot companion! In a patent filed by Sony to US Patent & Trademark office, Sony describes an actual robot companion which differs from the ones created in the virtual space while playing various VR games. The robot seems like it is supposed to keep gamers company while they play games as well as exhibit some kind of emotion to either empathize with the user or output reactions against the user. It seems like the robot will exhibit its emotions mainly in the form of expression of sounds. In the supposed console wars that are going on right now between the Xbox Series X and the Ps5, if the Ps5 does indeed include this robot companion as one of its features, it could have a very strong lead. As you probably can tell from the picture, the robot is not really a typical robot, but in a way looks like a cloud with limbs. (Image Credit: USPTO) ...

Playstation Event: Delayed

Image
(Image Source: Reddit via u/Matst 1) To GOD be all the glory!!!   The Image used is not the official image of the Playstation 5. Some of us may not know this, but there was originally meant to be a Playstation 5 reveal event on June 4, this event was however delayed. The event was meant to include some official footage reveals of some Ps5 games. The event was postponed to Thursday, June 11 at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT and is going to be broadcasted on YouTube and Twitch. The major reason Sony postponed the event was to allow "more important voices to be heard" following recent protests. According to Jim Ryan, the president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, the event will last a bit more than an hour. Further Playstation 5 updates may also be a possibility and this event may be one in many to come. Although the official price of the Playstation 5 has not yet been released, it is not likely that it will surpass the expectations of gamers, Sony confirmed thoug...

The DualSense - Ps5

Image
(Image Credit: Archyworldys) To GOD be all the glory!!!   This is the official Playstation 5 controller or as it is called, The DualSense. It is a real beauty and gives us a kind of idea of what the actual Playstation 5 console may look like. As we can see from the above picture, the controller's main color is white with some touches of black which is different from the previous Playstation controllers, the DualShocks, which are usually all black, and have been with us for a while now. The lightbar is no more at the front of the controller but is at each side of the touchpad producing an added effect. Its first official picture was released on the Playstation blog and since then, many fans that are graphical artists have made their own concepts of what they portray the DualSense as. (Image Credit: u/dormstreams) Apart from the aesthetics of the controller, it also features updates such as hardware and software enhancements, which will most likely take gaming to a who...

More on the PlayStation 5

Image
(Image Credit: Sony) To GOD be all the glory!!!   This is the official logo of the Ps5, it looks similar to some of the past logos of previous Playstations, but you know, if it's not broken, don't fix it. After a lot of speculation on the price, release date and even games that would come out on the Ps5 had come and gone, Sony finally had a chance to answer on of those questions, the price. Although it had chance to answer the question, Sony decided not to so as to increase anticipation on the part of the fans. In a financial briefing, Sony's chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki said, "[I]t's very difficult to discuss anything about the price in this point in time... it's a question of balance and because it's a balancing act, it is very difficult to say anything concrete at this point in time". This statement alone, built up more speculation about the price of the Ps5 by analysts out there, who give their own opinions on what they believe...

PS5 Thoughts And Opinions

Image
(Image Credit: The Sun) To GOD be all the glory!!! The Ps5 is Sony's next generation console that is meant to take over from the Ps4, hype about it has been so much and we all hope it lives up to the hype. The Ps5 will feature a dedicated SSD, which is rumored that Samsung will have something to do with, for those of us who do not know what an SSD is, it is a Solid State Drive that uses integrated circuit technology to store data using flash memory. The Ps5 will feature little to non-existent load times because of the SSD as it has been said that Marvel's Spiderman load times will be reduced from 8 seconds as recorded on the Ps4 pro to 0.83 seconds. For graphics it is going to harness the power of last generation Zen CPU architecture in conjunction with AMD'S freshly revealed Navi graphics architecture. The Ps5 will support 8K video resolution at least to an extent, that is really an improvement. The Ps5 is meant to be released during a holiday season in 2020 ...
