PlayStation 5 Pre-orders!!!

By the looks of things, PlayStation 5 pre-orders are imminent.

On the PlayStation website you can fill out a form to be eligible to be one of the first to pre-order the PlayStation 5.

The form is not that long and only requires you to input your PlayStation User-ID.

Anyone invited to pre-order the Ps5 will receive an e-mail from Sony before pre-orders start

If you do not receive an e-mail, you are not invited to pre-order.

Filling out the form does not assure you eligibility to pre-order a Ps5, but you will be notified when pre-orders are live.

On the FAQs for the Ps5 Console Pre-Order Invitation from PlayStation page, Sony made it clear that Pre-Orders will be on a first come first serve basis, meaning that getting invited to pre-order the Ps5 may not necessarily guarantee you one.

Every invitation has an expiry date that will be attached to the e-mail invitation.

There is also a limit to the number of consoles and console accessories that you can buy per PSN ID, you can buy:

• 1 Ps5 Console or 1 Ps5 Digital Edition
• 2 DualSense wireless controllers
• 2 DualSense charging stations
• 2 Pulse 3D wireless headsets
• 2 Media remotes
• 2 HD Cameras

Selections will be made based on PlayStation activity and previous interests, so the selection may be based on the hours of play logged on your Ps4.

You do not need to pre-order all the accessories in order to get the Ps5.

You cannot pre-order the Ps5 for delivery outside the US, if you do note reside in the US or have a US based address, then your order will be cancelled.

If you receive a "Sold Out" message then all available consoles have been reserved.
