To GOD be all the glory!!!

Due to COVID-19, operations in most industries are very slow, which is the reason why Red Camo has not been able to post on a daily basis, we post to notify you on the most important developments in our opinion and hope that you all stay safe.

The Last Of Us 2, a game made by Naughty Dog, one of the best game producing studios around, was recently announced to be delayed due to the global outbreak of COVID-19.

The game was supposed to be released on May 29th, but has been postponed indefinetely.

The Last Of Us II has now been removed from The Playstation Store, and anyone who may have pre-ordered the game from The Playstation Store is getting a total refund from Sony as they, themselves have confirmed.

Fortunately, the refund is automatic for those who pre-ordered the game digitally and does not require a request, Sony will most likely refund the money to users' Playstation accounts.

There has been no information in regards to those that have physically pre-ordered the game from various retailers but they should also get their money back.

Although Naughty Dog itself has said that the game is practically finished, they also said that they are not going to be able to release the game.

The vice president of Naughty Dog has confirmed that the major work on the game is done, but then it is down to the polishing, bug fixing and finalizing, he said,
"We're at the one-yard line... we want to polish it as much as we can, taking our time to review each section and making sure it's all Naughty Dog quality. The game is there. We just have to sit on it for a little bit and figure out what's the best way to get it to our fans."
This, coming from a company that is so detail oriented, could mean that we may have to wait a bit longer for the game's actual release.

For Naughty Dog that goes through a lot of crunch to get its games to the quality that they are, working from home may drastically slow down the game production process.

Neil Druckmann also confirmed that the demo of the game that was supposed to be at PAX this year is not coming to PSN anymore, it sounds like he is really concerned about his workers, he said,
"That's a massive amount of work that we don't want to put our team through, we'd rather put our focus on finishing the actual game and getting it to people."
It's is easy to imagine that Naughty Dog is scared of spoilers getting out from countries who may have early access to the game, this is makes complete sense because some people may have gotten to finish the game before others start it.

Naughty Dog, would naturally want to make as much as they can from the release of the highly anticipated game, so it is understandable that they would delay the game's release until the global outbreak of COVID-19 is settled to an extent, Naughty Dog said,
"We want to make sure that everyone gets to play The Last Of Us Part II around the same time, ensuring that we're doing everything possible to preserve the best experience for everyone."
For Naughty Dog fans who are wondering why the game cannot just be released digitally, Sony is most likely weighing the loss of physical sales against the increase in digital sales, and has most likely decided to go for the original game launch involving disks.

Although the wait may be for a few months, it is highly unlikely that the wait for the release of The Last Of Us II will discourage gamers from buying it.

Sorry to say, a wait is still highly anticipated for the release of The Last Of Us II.
