The Price Of The Xbox Series S!!!

Image
(Credit: Microsoft) To GOD be all the glory!!! The official price of Microsoft's smaller next gen console, the Xbox Series S, has been released, it will cost $299. The official release date of the Xbox Series S is going to be November 10, 2020.  This could also be the release date for the Xbox Series X. Since the Xbox Series S supposedly has the same CPU as the Xbox Series X (Microsoft's major next gen console), a price of $299 is not that outrageous. Although not all the specs of the Xbox Series S have been officially released, the Xbox Series S should support 120fps at 1440p and have ray tracing plus a 512GB SSD . Having 512GB on a console in this generation may not be very effective, as games of nowadays usually take up about a 100GB of space. There is no disc drive on the Xbox Series S, so it will probably have a removable storage port like the Xbox Series X. If Microsoft added a removable storage port to the Xbox Series S, then you could solve the problem of space by buyin...

The DualShock 4 Works On The Ps5!!!

Image
(Image Credit: The Verge) To GOD be all the glory!!!   Sony revealed on its PlayStation Blog that some of the existing Ps4 accessories will be compatible with the PlayStation 5. Sony also revealed that the officially licensed arcade sticks, flight sticks, racing sticks, The Platinum and Gold Wireless Headsets, as well as other third-party headsets, PS Move Motion Controller and the PlayStation VR Aim Controller, may be compatible with the PlayStation 5. If you were wondering whether you will actually need a DualSense , it seems you would if you actually want to enjoy any Ps5 games. Even though the DualShock 4 controller will work on the Ps5, it will only work on Ps4 games compatible with the Ps5. This makes sense considering there is supposed to be a generational leap from the Ps4 to the Ps5. Microsoft on the other hand says that all existing Xbox One accessories will be compatible with the Xbox Series X. Now when considering the actual generational leap between the e...

It Looks Like The Xbox Series X Will Not Launch Alone!

Image
(Image Credit: PCMag) To GOD be all the glory!!!   It looks like Microsoft's next generation console, the Xbox Series X, will not be launching alone. Two other code names, 'Edinburgh' and 'Count' have been seen in the code of the latest Game Development Kit from Microsoft as tweeted by @bllyhlbrt, whose twitter bio says that he is a software developer, reverse engineer and occasional game programmer. The tweet also makes some references to the 'Xbox Lockhart' which is the supposed codename of the Xbox Series S (rumoured to be a cheaper version of the Xbox Series X). These two code names may not necessarily mean two other consoles but could be Microsoft trying to throw us off the trail of what it's actually planning, or even codenames of future variants of the Xbox Series X. @Kirby0Louise (whose twitter bio says is a developer working on the Void3D game engine for the Xbox Series X) has tweeted that the codename 'Lockhart' could be for t...

Marvel's Avengers on the Ps5

Image
(Image Credit: Playstation) To GOD be all the glory!!!   It was recently announced that the upcoming Marvel's Avengers game coming to the Ps4 on September 4th will be getting free enhancements when played on the Ps5. This game is just one of many Ps4 games that will be getting free enhancements when played on the Ps5, some other examples of games that will be getting free enhancements on the Ps5 are: Madden NFL 21, Cyberpunk 2077 and FIFA 21. Many major developers of games on the Ps4 will most likely offer free enhancements of their games when they are played on the Ps5. Some of the enhancements that will be made to the Marvel's Avengers game include improved textures and lighting as well as giving players the choice of enhanced graphics mode which aims for a consistent 60 frames per second at 4K. The Marvel's Avengers game will also benefit from the Playstation 5's high processing power which will almost totally eliminate load times and allow players to jump...

The Ps5 May Come With A Robot!

Image
(Image Credit: USPTO) To GOD be all the glory!!! The Ps5 may come with a new and interesting feature, its very own robot companion! In a patent filed by Sony to US Patent & Trademark office, Sony describes an actual robot companion which differs from the ones created in the virtual space while playing various VR games. The robot seems like it is supposed to keep gamers company while they play games as well as exhibit some kind of emotion to either empathize with the user or output reactions against the user. It seems like the robot will exhibit its emotions mainly in the form of expression of sounds. In the supposed console wars that are going on right now between the Xbox Series X and the Ps5, if the Ps5 does indeed include this robot companion as one of its features, it could have a very strong lead. As you probably can tell from the picture, the robot is not really a typical robot, but in a way looks like a cloud with limbs. (Image Credit: USPTO) ...

The Playstation 5: Reveal

Image
(Image Credit: Playstation) To GOD be all the glory!!!   Yep, it has finally been revealed, the Playstation 5 and some of its accessories. During the Playstation event on Thursday, Sony also revealed trailers of their upcoming games. A part of the Ps5's GUI(Graphical User Interface) was also revealed with the famous "Press the PS button on your controller" phrase being displayed on the Ps5. The event hosted a lot of big game companies and some other names in the field of sports. We were very satisfied with the open demonstrations of the games and how Sony revealed some of the actual gameplays of games that will be released on the Ps5. One of the games that had a comprehensive gameplay reveal was Ratchet and Clank: Drift Apart. This gameplay showed how powerful the Ps5 really is, Rachet and Clank were able to jump through Dimensions in seamless transitions. They jumped between worlds and dimensions with completely different designs and textures without any ...

Playstation Event: Delayed

Image
(Image Source: Reddit via u/Matst 1) To GOD be all the glory!!!   The Image used is not the official image of the Playstation 5. Some of us may not know this, but there was originally meant to be a Playstation 5 reveal event on June 4, this event was however delayed. The event was meant to include some official footage reveals of some Ps5 games. The event was postponed to Thursday, June 11 at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT and is going to be broadcasted on YouTube and Twitch. The major reason Sony postponed the event was to allow "more important voices to be heard" following recent protests. According to Jim Ryan, the president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, the event will last a bit more than an hour. Further Playstation 5 updates may also be a possibility and this event may be one in many to come. Although the official price of the Playstation 5 has not yet been released, it is not likely that it will surpass the expectations of gamers, Sony confirmed thoug...

The DualSense - Ps5

Image
(Image Credit: Archyworldys) To GOD be all the glory!!!   This is the official Playstation 5 controller or as it is called, The DualSense. It is a real beauty and gives us a kind of idea of what the actual Playstation 5 console may look like. As we can see from the above picture, the controller's main color is white with some touches of black which is different from the previous Playstation controllers, the DualShocks, which are usually all black, and have been with us for a while now. The lightbar is no more at the front of the controller but is at each side of the touchpad producing an added effect. Its first official picture was released on the Playstation blog and since then, many fans that are graphical artists have made their own concepts of what they portray the DualSense as. (Image Credit: u/dormstreams) Apart from the aesthetics of the controller, it also features updates such as hardware and software enhancements, which will most likely take gaming to a who...

Xbox Series X - Thoughts And Opinions

Image
(Image Credit: Microsoft) To GOD be all the glory!!! The Xbox Series X also known as the Xbox Project Scarlett is Microsoft's next generation console that is meant to compete with Sony's next generation console, the Ps5. The Xbox Series X will feature a more powerful processor and many other features that are packed into the product's box like shape making it look like a gaming pc. The Xbox Series X will feature real-time-ray tracing meaning that game producers will be able to focus on even the most minute details in terms of graphics and animation. It will also feature a custom designed processor from AMD making use of Zen 2 and Navi architecture, it will be capable of running games at a 120Hz frame rates and to support an 8K resolution, meaning that the graphic content of the Xbox Series X will very good as there will be more pixels integrated into different screens. It will be four times as powerful as the Xbox One X which is really saying something, as the cu...
