To GOD be all the glory!!!

It looks like Microsoft's next generation console, the Xbox Series X, will not be launching alone.

Two other code names, 'Edinburgh' and 'Count' have been seen in the code of the latest Game Development Kit from Microsoft as tweeted by @bllyhlbrt, whose twitter bio says that he is a software developer, reverse engineer and occasional game programmer.

The tweet also makes some references to the 'Xbox Lockhart' which is the supposed codename of the Xbox Series S (rumoured to be a cheaper version of the Xbox Series X).

These two code names may not necessarily mean two other consoles but could be Microsoft trying to throw us off the trail of what it's actually planning, or even codenames of future variants of the Xbox Series X.

@Kirby0Louise (whose twitter bio says is a developer working on the Void3D game engine for the Xbox Series X) has tweeted that the codename 'Lockhart' could be for the development kit for the Xbox Series S while the codename 'Edinburgh' could be for the retail version of the Xbox Series S.

@Kirby0Louise also tweeted that Microsoft uses the names of capital cities for S variants of the Xbox while it uses the names of powerful animals for X variants of the Xbox, as it did with the Xbox One X which was previously codenamed 'Scorpio'

However at Red Camo, we think all of these may just be speculation, as these codenames could be used for completely different purposes.

With the Digital Edition of the Ps5 revealed in the 'Future of Gaming' event, it seems like Microsoft should have a Digital Edition of the Xbox Series X waiting for a reveal.

Microsoft supposedly has an event scheduled for July 23rd, more light may or may not be shed on the codenames 'Edinburgh' and 'Count' during the supposed event.
